The design that escaped, never saw the light of day, ended up on the cutting room floor and never made it past the first presentation meeting.
Much of what we conceptualise never makes it past the first presentation meeting.
There are a number of factors that lead to this; cost, committees, historical hang – ups, taste, subjectiveness. All justified of course, but all too often, the better designs never make it past the first client proof and are all too often hastily rejected.
Here are just a few that we felt deserve to see a bit more light of day before they are relegated to the darkest corner on our back up hard drives and are lost for all eternity. Enjoy!
“THE CIRCUS PROVIDED US WITH A DESIGN FOR A RANGE OF CORPORATE BROCHURES THAT WOULD SIT TOGETHER IN A BOX WALLET. BY PROVIDING US WITH SUCH A STRONG AND APPROPRIATE DESIGN THEY EFFECTIVELY CREATED A NEW BRAND FOR US AS WELL. THIS DESIGN NATURALLY MOVED ONTO OUR OTHER PUBLICATIONS AND IN FEBRUARY THIS YEAR THEY DESIGNED AND PRODUCED OUR ANNUAL REPORT AND ITS TRANSLATION INTO TWO ADDITIONAL LANGUAGES. THE CIRCUS HAVE RAISED THE PROFILE OF THE ORGANISATION BY PROVIDING US WITH QUALITY, CORPORATE PUBLICATIONS THAT SIT COMFORTABLY WITHIN OUR SERIOUS INDUSTRY.”
